Craftsmen build Beaumont & Fletcher's furniture by hand. They use exactly the same
materials and methods that Victorian upholsterers employed over a century ago.
Each footstool frame is strongly constructed in seasoned beech, every joint cut by
hand. Steel coil springs are tied by hand to form the seat. Natural bristle is sewn onto
the springs and covered with a soft pad of cotton, to create the distinctive look and feel
that is the hallmark of this traditionally made upholstery.
The cutting and layout of the fabric ensures perfect symmetry and balance of design,
and is sewn together with meticulous attention to detail.
The beauty and comfort of hand made upholstery of this quality will last for
generations.
