LEAD TIMES

The length of time to create a product is dependent on the quantity and the complexity. Please see guidelines under relevant headings below.
We will quote approximate lead-times on every order but these can sometimes change beyond our control. We will try to keep you informed if this is likely to happen, but any promise made, whilst done so in good faith, is not guaranteed and we shall not be liable for the consequence of a delay.

Carriage and packing charges apply and will be quoted for each individual order according to weight and address. Please check delivery access for furniture items before ordering.

TREATMENTS

Beaumont and Fletcher cannot accept liability for changes in appearance, performance, or defects in any of our products, if they are treated after purchase, by spraying or processing of any kind, including flame proofing or the application of stain-repelling treatments.

EMBROIDERY FABRICS

The embroideries created are bespoke and created by hand, lead times vary but as a guide can take between 8-14 weeks depending on size and work involved.
The minimum order quantity is 5 meters.

Beaumont & Fletcher will need to work closely with you to discuss sizes, colourings and styles required, please make sure all possible information is provided.

Prices given on our price lists and over the phone are guidelines only, prices will vary according to the overall dimensions, amount of embroidery required and techniques.

The embroidery is created on frames so we will need to know the sizes you require for each individual curtain or finished piece, a template of the shape should be sent.

We will produce diagrams and a strike off for approval before commencing any finished piece. We will require an A4 sample of base cloth for creating the strike off if this is not a Beaumont and Fletcher fabric.

The strike off will be charged for according to the complexity and amount of work involved. Please allow extra time for the development and approval of strike-offs.
As all our embroideries are made by hand despite our best endeavours, it is not always possible to achieve exact precision of measurements. We expect a tolerance of +/- 5%.

Metallic yarns are likely to change colour over time, pure silver will tarnish with exposure to air and the metallic content of any thread will darken. The rate and extent of this will depend on climatic conditions and is not possible to predict accurately. This is not a fault but a natural process.

The cost of embroidery designs does not include the cost of ground cloth. We can supply ground cloth for an extra change or you can supply this to us. Please make sure any fabric supplied reaches the required FR standard.

It is necessary to add an extra 20% to the quantity of ground cloth required, this is to allow for seams, hems and shrinkage.

FURNITURE

Lead times are usually 8-12 weeks from receipt of fabric and deposit. The furniture is made to order so sizes can normally be changed for a cost– please check.

Finishes such as casters and nailing can also be changed and added if not included. The legs are integral to the frame and do not come off.

All prices given are ex works and excludes fabric and delivery.

Standard filing is 70% duck and 30% down. Other fillings available on request. The wood for frames is mainly Beech.

FR certificates must be supplied for non- Beaumont and Fletcher fabrics. Beaumont and Fletcher offer a barrier cloth for an extra charge.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure access for new furniture items. Please measure all access points and make sure the largest measurement will fit through.

The furniture cannot be dismantled and the legs are built into the frame. If a bespoke item does not fit on delivery the customer may still be charged.
